For Our Grandchildren is a bipartisan organization working to "fix Social Security, lift the unfair burden from our kids and grandkids, and stop Congress from spending our Social Security taxes." The ogranization was planning to appear at a series of events where they knew they needed to shock people out of their stupor on the troubles facing the Social Security system. To that end, Brock Ray, working with Skyline Exhibits, created these minimal, but powerful, marketing graphics. Both the graphics and headlines were created by Brock Ray and were designed as a reference to vintage protest and propaganda posters. The "Failing the Future" version specifically targeted Baby Boomers who would soon begin retiring; the "Fight the Future" was designed for teens and young adults, to make them aware of the challenges that Social Security faces.
